Tag Settings

Tagging improves the ability to search, filter, organize, and manage assets efficiently.

What are Tag Settings?

  • Tag Settings is a configuration section that allows you to control how users assign tags to digital assets during the upload process.

  • Tags are keywords or labels used to describe the content, topic, or intended use of an asset.

Purpose of Tag Settings
  • Standardize tagging practices across the organization to ensure consistency.

  • Enhance search accuracy by enabling structured tagging.

  • Automate content classification by campaign, department, content type, etc.

  • Prevent untagged or poorly tagged assets, which can hinder long-term asset management.

  • In addition to creating categories and assigning tags to each category, Tag Settings also supports a number of advanced options that give you better control over the display and application of tags during asset uploads:

    • Show category in Uploader when 1+ tags are selected in any of the following categories.

    • Optionally require certain tags to be selected from the dependant category list.

  • The categories will appear as headings in "The Asset Tagging Step" of the Uploader for all Users in the Account.
