What's Changed

Allow opening the image in the editor from the resize version dialog

When users resize an asset (both with or without selecting a custom template), they can now choose “Open in Image Editor” to directly open the asset in the Image Editor.

🔹 Update Details:

  • If you have selected a referenced size or a custom template, the image asset will open in the editor with the dimensions and default settings of that template (e.g., 512 x auto or 900 x 600, along with settings like “cover fit” or “contain fit”).

  • After selection, the resize dialog will automatically close, and the Image Editor will open in fullscreen mode for immediate editing. This allows you to start editing immediately in your desired format.

Add the Ability to Embed an Iframe into Brand Guidelines

  • Added a new Section Type: “Embed” in Brand Guidelines.

  • Users can now embed iframes directly into Brand Guidelines to display external URLs, enabling live, dynamic guidelines and integrated tool previews within brand documentation.

Latest version should be default selected on Email Enternals option in approvals

Previously, the system would default to the Original version when sending Email Externals during approval steps.

🔹 Update Details:

With this update, if the stage is configured with “Use Latest Version,” the system will:

  • Automatically select the latest version as the default when users send Email Externals.

  • Ensure that reviewers/approvers are always reviewing and approving the most recent version, avoiding missing any latest edits.

We have received feedback from you that the "Back" button on your browser sometimes does not take you to the desired location in HIVO, but instead to the home page or other sections. We understand this inconvenience and have worked hard to completely fix it.

🔹 Update Details:

  • The Back button on the browser will now return you to your previous location instead of redirecting to the homepage or other random areas within HIVO.

  • Navigation within the Image Editor has been improved, ensuring that back/forward buttons on the browser work correctly across the following areas:

    • Editor sections on the right.

    • Pages (navigation via bottom buttons).

    • Navigating in and out of the Special Category + Template Selector.

We are constantly listening to your feedback to improve your HIVO experience.
