# Asset Preview Page

The Asset Previews feature in HIVO allows you to quickly see details about an asset without having to open the full details page. This guide will explain how to use the Asset Previews feature effectively.

#### How to Open & Close Preview Asset

* **Open Assets Preview**
  * Simply double-click the asset thumbnail. 
  * Or Select any asset you want to preview by clicking on it. Then, press the **Space Bar** once.
* **Quick Navigation:** 
  * When the preview window is open, you can use the **left/right arrows or keyboard** arrows to navigate between assets.  
  * You can quickly browse through a series of images (or selected assets) without having to go back to the Library to select the next asset you want to preview.
*  **Close Assets Preview**
  * Press the **Space Bar** again
  * Or click anywhere outside the preview to close it and return to the main library view.

### **Information available on the Asset Preview Page**

When you open an asset preview, you can see the following information:

**1. Name & Versions**

View and download different versions of the asset that are available.

**2. Properties**

View all detailed information about the selected asset, include:&#x20;

* **Asset Added:** The date when the asset was added to the system, along with the uploader’s name.
* **Version Added:** The date when the current version of the asset was created.
* **License Expiry Date:** The date when the asset’s usage license expires.
* **Sensitive Date:** The date when the asset is marked as sensitive (if applicable).
* **Archive Date:** The date when the asset is moved to the archive state.
* **Asset ID:** The unique identifier assigned to the asset in the system.
* **Type:** The file format of the asset (e.g., `image/jpeg`, `video/mp4`, etc.).

👉 Click on the Type to search for assets of the same type.

* **Size:** The file size (in KB or MB).
* **Dimensions:** The image dimensions (width × height, in pixels).
* **Views:** The number of times the asset has been viewed, along with the last viewed time.
* **Batch:** The upload batch to which the asset belongs.

👉 Click **“Filter by Batch”** to view all assets uploaded in the same batch.

**3. Tags**

The **Tags** section displays descriptive keywords assigned to the asset, helping users easily **search, categorize, and manage** their assets.

👉 Click a specific tag to search for assets containing that tag.&#x20;
