The Asset Previews feature in HIVO allows you to quickly see details about an asset without having to open the full details page. This guide will explain how to use the Asset Previews feature effectively.
To activate the preview feature, simply double-click the asset thumbnail. This will open the asset preview view (which has a black background), providing you with a quick overview of essential information.
When you open an asset preview, you can see the following information:
Versions: View and download different versions of the asset that are available.
Properties: View asset properties, such as metadata, tags, or the collection containing that asset.
To cycle between assets in the order of appearance, use the left/right arrows on the sides of the preview or use the arrow keys on your keyboard. This allows you to quickly browse through multiple assets without closing the preview. Clicking anywhere outside the preview will close it, returning you to the main library view.
