Global Notification Settings

Manage email and in-app notifications more easily with Global Notification Settings!

With Global Notification Settings, you can keep everyone on the same page and easily manage and set default notifications for all users in your organization 😍.

What is Global Notification Settings

Global Notification Settings allows set notification defaults for new users as well as update notifications for existing users.

Setting up "Global Notification Settings" in HIVO will help:

  • Minimize distractions and focus on important work by receiving only relevant notifications.

  • Receive timely notifications about important activities and events within the organization.

  • Manage notifications for all users easily and effectively.

How to use Global Notification Settings?

  1. Navigate to: Client Profile => Settings => Global Notification Settings

  1. Select which notifications are suitable for all users globally in your account, the types of notifications are displayed in a list, including:

  • Although all notification options are visible here, some users may not receive notifications if they do not have the necessary permissions for the action.

  • Users need to verify their email address to receive email notifications.

Description

General Notifications

  • New user registered

  • Someone else uploaded the file

  • Someone else uploads a new version

  • My instance access request has expired

  • Request access to new version from user

  • Request to access an expired or expired version

  • Someone remind me (nudges)

  • Someone replied/mentioned me in the comments

  • Guests leave feedback on Shared Collections

Status Notifications

  • Assets that have been archived or are about to be archived

  • Assets have been or are about to be marked as Sensitive

  • The property license has expired or is about to expire

Consent Notifications

  • Property rights have expired or are about to expire

  • The consent request was approved or denied

  • Contact Support message from request for consent

Approval Notifications

  • My unapproved uploads are approved or rejected

  • Asset approvals are due or have expired

  • When approval is launched

  • When the new approval period is launched

  • Once the approval stage has been approved

  • I was assigned a task on the property approval to-do list

  • When the final stage of approval is approved

  • When the approval period has X hours remaining

  • When approval is prompted manually

Task Notifications

  • Someone adds me to a Task

  • Someone comments on a Quest

  • An unfinished task has 48 hours left until the due date

  • User creates Task or Summary

Note: You can update the notifications for all current users, by swiping the selection bar to the right (swiping left to disable does not apply to the current user).

Then, save changes so this takes effect for future uploaded Assets and actions in the account.
