# Download Folder in Collection

The **Download Collection Folder** feature in Collection Folders allows users to **download assets from a specific collection folder** with flexible options such as **selecting versions** or **customizing file formats and sizes**.

### **How to Download Folder in a Collection**

📌 **Ensure you have permission to access and download assets** in the Collection before performing this action.

**🔹 Step 1: Open the Options Menu**

* Navigate to **Collections** and find the folder you want to notify users about.
* Click the **down arrow** on the folder thumbnail or **right-click** on the folder.
* A menu with options will appear.

#### **🔹 Step 2: Select "Download Folder"**

* In the options menu, click **"Download  Folder"**.

#### **🔹 Step 3: Select the Asset Version(s) to Download**

A list of **Asset Versions** (assets stored inside the folder) will appear, allowing you to choose the desired version to download:

* **Select a specific version** if you only want to download that version.
* **Choose "All"** to download **all versions available** on the selected assets.

#### **🔹 Step 4: Advanced Download Options**

For **Image Assets**, you can use the **"Custom"** option to tailor the download to your needs:

* **Customize the size, file format, and other output settings**.
* Click **"Advanced"** on the options window to see additional settings such as:
  * **File type** (PNG, JPEG, etc.).
  * **Image quality**.
  * For **image assets with no background**, you can select a background color to add a background to the asset.

#### **🔹 Step 5: Confirm the Download**

* After selecting the version and download options, click **"Download"** to start the download process.
* The file will be **downloaded to your device** and saved in your default download folder.
