New Feature: Dropbox Integration – Sync External Data into HIVO

HIVO has successfully integrated with Dropbox – one of the most popular cloud storage platforms today.

🔹 New Feature Details:

• Admins can now connect their Dropbox account and select specific folders to sync data into the HIVO system.

• All assets within the selected folders will be automatically synced to the HIVO library, making it easier to manage, search, and use assets from a single unified platform.

⚠️ User Right Required: User must have the permission: “Is Client Admin - User can manage the Client Profile”.

Feature Update: Sort tree path naturally

HIVO has updated the way we sort folder paths, prioritizing numerical order first and then alphabetical, to provide a more intuitive and efficient experience for our users.

Feature Update: Improved thumbnail quality in Templates

HIVO has improved the quality of template thumbnails: Thumbnails on the Template category and individual template thumbnails will now be displayed clearly and sharply, without any blurriness.

Feature Update: Improved Fullscreen Video and Version Display

HIVO has made improvements to address a few minor interface issues on the upload details page, making the video viewing and version selection experience more seamless.

🔹 Update Details:

• Improved Fullscreen Video display: We have fixed the clipping issue that occurred when viewing videos in fullscreen. Previously, the custom player sometimes had clipping issues when the user was fully zoomed out. This problem occurred because the page was designed for the video to occupy 100% of the height, but there was also a player underneath it.

• Fixed Version Selector label display: Previously, the version selector label would shrink when no specific version was selected. The label will now display correctly at its normal size even when no explicit version is chosen (and it defaults to "original").

Feature Update: Improved User Experience on User Rights and Client Profile Pages

🔹 Update Details: Unsaved Work Warning

• A warning will now pop up when you've made changes in the Client Profile but haven't saved and try to leave the page.

• This feature helps you avoid accidentally losing important changes.

Feature Update: "Edit Production Date" function moved to Actions Menu

We have made a small change to help you manage your assets more efficiently. The "Edit Production Date" function has been moved from the "Edit Metadata" section to the Actions dropdown menu directly on the library page.
