Library folders are a fundamental feature designed to help users organize, manage, and access their digital assets efficiently in HIVO.

Users with permission can create new folders and subfolders within the library by navigating to the Library, switching to folder or tree mode, and then clicking on 'Add Assets' and then 'Create Folder':
Users can search for library folders by typing in their search in the Library search bar. HIVO will then show search results for the folders that exist in the Library related to the search:
Note: Searching for a library folder in will show the contents of a folder in a flat structure. If you want to see the actual folders, please make sure to be using .
Users with permission can see the library folder location an asset is stored in from the by clicking on the details tab and then scrolling down to the 'Folder' section and clicking on the eye icon:
