HIVO has just introduced an important feature to enhance system security:
When this feature is enabled, the system will automatically log out users if no activity is detected within the configured time period. For example: If set to 30, the session will automatically end after 30 minutes of inactivity.
This helps reduce the risk of unauthorized access, especially in cases where users forget to log out of their devices.
To improve user experience and ensure assets are used appropriately, we’ve updated how assets are displayed in the Canva plugin.
🔹 Update details:
Depending on your organization’s preferences, Archived / Sensitive / License-expired assets (as configured in the Client Profile Settings) can now be set to either show or be hidden in the Canva plugin.
This allows users to better focus on active, ready-to-use assets — or adapt visibility according to specific organizational needs.
HIVO has improved the Asset Viewing interface when sharing Shared Collections/Multiple Shared Assets by introducing Infinite Scroll feature.
🔹 Update Details:
Users can now seamlessly browse through all assets in a Shared Link just by scrolling — no need to manually switch pages as before.
The interface will automatically load more assets as the user scrolls to the end of the list, providing a smoother and more convenient experience.
Users with View access to a Brand Guideline can now download files contained within it, even if they do not have direct permission to access those files under normal circumstances.
🔸 Note: This permission applies only to files included in Brand Guidelines and does not affect the standard permission settings for other.
This update aims to enhance the experience for users with restricted rights (Restricted Users – meaning users who have the “Must use image editor template” permission).
🔹 Update Details:
When a restricted user accesses the Editor page, the system will automatically open the “Pick a Template” modal, eliminating the need for the user to manually click this button. This streamlines their workflow and saves time.
When a restricted user launches a template:
The template will now open with the “Design” tab as the default view (instead of the “Layer” tab previously).
The interface will automatically switch to Fullscreen mode to optimize workspace and design experience.
🔸 Note: These changes only apply to users who have the “Must use image editor template” permission. Other users will not be affected by this update.
