The new feature allows users to quickly copy folder names directly from the folder actions menu. This update saves time when using or sharing folder names.
The Rename feature has now been added to the asset thumbnail dropdown. Previously, this feature was only available in Library actions. This update makes it easier and more convenient for users to rename assets right from the thumbnail interface.
The "Location" field has been removed from the “Edit Metadata” library action and is now available as a standalone action in the library actions menu.
This update provides a clearer and more streamlined experience when editing asset locations, especially when users only need to update location information without modifying other metadata.
The toolbar interface on the External Approval page has been adjusted to enhance user experience:
Keep the Pan tool (image navigation) in its current position on the interface.
Move all other tools (such as Zoom, Fit to Screen, Download, etc.) to an open toolbar located below the asset.
This change helps create a cleaner, more intuitive interface and allows users to interact with assets more easily during the review and approval process.
Previously, users could only mark assets as favorites, and this action was not available for folders. In this update, the Favorite Folder feature has officially been added to Folder Action.
Previously, all template categories shared the same URL, which made it inconvenient for users to share or send a link to a specific category.
With this update: Each template category can now be accessed via a unique URL, making it easier to share or send to others by adding a category search parameter to the URL.
Previously, the system only allowed notification settings to be configured at the individual user level. This was time-consuming when configuring notifications for multiple users at once.
With the new update, admins can now set default notifications at the User Group level.
During the asset management process, an asset may have many versions (e.g., drafts, minor revisions, or outdated versions). Displaying all of these versions can create clutter, make it difficult to find the correct one, and sometimes lead to the accidental use of outdated or incorrect content. While the approval workflow already helps control visibility automatically, there is still a need for manual control over which versions are shown.
With this update, users can now access a specific version of an asset and choose the "Hide Version" action. This action will make the selected version no longer visible to regular users. However, it will not be permanently deleted — it remains in the system and can still be viewed or restored later by admin or users have "Can View Hidden Versions" permission.
Now when creating an upload link, users can pre-set important properties for the assets to be uploaded, including:
Archive: Mark the asset as archived.
Sensitive: Label the asset as sensitive.
License Expires End Date: Set the copyright expiration date right from the upload step.
We are currently developing the Dropbox integration feature with clients' HIVO accounts to make the onboarding process with HIVO easier. Many clients store their digital assets on Dropbox before migrating to HIVO, so this integration will enable faster and more convenient syncing.
📌 Key Features (In Development):
Establish a connection between HIVO and Dropbox
Allow selection of folders from Dropbox to import into the HIVO system
Option to toggle continuous sync between the two platforms
