Using the Recycle Bin to Restore Deleted Assets

The Recycle Bin feature in HIVO allows users to recover deleted assets within a limited time period, ensuring that accidentally removed files can be restored quickly and easily.

Benefits of the Recycle Bin

The Recycle Bin provides a safeguard for your assets, allowing you to:

  • Retrieve accidentally deleted assets without needing to re-upload or recreate content.

  • Reduce the risk of data loss and ensure that important assets can be restored promptly.

Who Can Restore Assets

  • Access to restore assets from the Recycle Bin is controlled by admin permissions.

  • Admins can enable or restrict restore access for individual users or user groups, based on your organization’s needs.

2, Search for Assets to Restore

Locate the asset you need to restore by using the search and filter tools. HIVO provides several filters to help you find deleted assets quickly:

  • By User Deleted : Filter by the name of the person who deleted the asset.

  • By Deleted Date: Filter by the deletion date.

  • By File Name: Search for the asset by name.

You can combine these filters for more efficient searching to locate specific assets.
