What's Changed

[Update] Added Thumbnail Support for .dotm Files

Previously, when a Microsoft Word Macro-Enabled Template (.dotm) file was uploaded to the platform, the system failed to generate a visual preview, resulting in a generic file icon. This created a 'blind spot' in the library, forcing users to rely entirely on filenames to identify templates. Now, the system automatically generates and displays thumbnail previews for all .dotm template files.

[New Feature] Metadata Templates (Super-Admin Exclusive)

We are excited to introduce the Metadata Templates feature, designed to help Client-Admins establish standardized metadata structures.

🔹 Update Details:

You can now save these configurations as templates and reuse them, ensuring consistency across the entire system.

  • Save as Template: Easily save your current metadata configuration as a template to reuse for future projects or asset categories.

  • Apply Templates: Quickly apply saved templates to your system with just a few clicks, significantly reducing manual setup time.

[New Feature] Support Tickets Tab Added to HIVO

A new Tickets tab has been added to the Support page in HIVO to help clients track and manage their support requests more easily.

🔹 Feature Details:

  • View Submitted Tickets: Clients can now see all support tickets submitted by their own organization directly within the Support page.

  • Detailed Ticket View: Client Admin Clicking the edit icon on a ticket opens a detailed view displaying the full ticket description along with any attached files.

  • Commenting System: Both Client Admins and HIVO Admins can add comments within a ticket to communicate and provide updates.

  • Ticket Status Updates: HIVO Admins can manually update the status of a ticket to keep clients informed about progress.

This update improves transparency and communication between clients and the HIVO support team by centralizing ticket tracking and discussion within the platform.

[Improvement] Version Access Requests

We have upgraded the Version Access Request feature to provide maximum flexibility for users when managing access permissions to assets.

🔹 Update Details:

  • Users who were previously restricted to specific version access can now request access to all versions directly from the Asset Details page.
