What's Changed
[New Feature] Video Scene Detection
We are officially launching Video Scene Detection – a feature that allows the system to automatically separate a video into multiple small segments based on the faces detected within the video.
👉 This feature enables users to:
Automate the scene separation process, saving time on manual video processing.
Support flexible editing at the segment level or for the entire video.
Easily repurpose individual segments for various uses.
🔹 Feature Details:
With video scene detection feature, users can:
View all segments generated from the original video.
Download individual segments.
Edit each segment independently (similar to the Video Editor on the Asset Detail page) and save it as a new version or a new asset.
Merge the segments into a new video and edit it (similar to the Video Editor on the Asset Detail page), then save it as a new version or a new asset.

[Improvement] Template Display upon Opening in the Editor
Previously, when a user opened a new Template in the Editor, the template was previously displayed with an excessively large zoom, showing only a portion of the template and requiring manual zooming/panning.
🔹 Update Details:
With the new enhancement, the Template will automatically fit the screen size upon first opening, allowing users to view the entire template content immediately.
👉 This improvement helps to:
Reduce manual zoom/pan actions.
Provide a more intuitive and convenient template editing experience.
Enable users to quickly grasp the overall template layout before editing.

[Improvement] Update permissions when adding assets to a Collection
🔹 Update Details:
We have added the ability to add assets to a Collection and grant Collection permissions up to Can Share level, even if the user does not have full access to the individual assets.
Permissions that exceed the user's asset-level rights will be disabled (greyed out), ensuring that users cannot grant a higher level of permission than what they possess on the individual assets.
👉 This enhancement addresses the following previous limitations:
Requirement for Full Access to Add Assets: Previously, the system required users to have full access to an asset before they could add it to a Collection.
Limited Collection Management: Managers or users who only needed to add/remove assets from a Collection, without changing any other information, were unable to do so because they lacked full access.
Difficulty in secure Collection sharing: If full access had to be granted simply to add an asset, the user would gain excessive editing rights. This posed a data risk as they could inadvertently change tags, metadata, or move folders, leading to data inconsistencies.
