Automated Collections

Automated Collections can be used by Admin accounts to help facilitate the process of creating themed Collections.

Automated Collections can be setup by Admin accounts to help facilitate the process of adding Assets into Collections. Users can create a set of automation rules that determine when an uploaded Asset should be automatically added to the Collection.

How to set an Automated collection?

👉 Collection Automation is found in the Collection Detail page => Select Settings (3 dot icon) => Click on the Automations tab to start specifying rules (you can combine multiple rules in an Automated Collection to create more complex filtering conditions.)

• Assets will be automatically added to a Collection if they meet any of the Collection’s Automation rules.

• A rule with every field left empty will cause all new Assets to be added to the Collection (assuming the person uploading has the necessary permissions), since all fields have been ignored.

Rules you can set up include

• Tags: Uploaded assets must contain one or more specific tags in order to be added to a Collection.

• Production Date:The Asset must be originally produced between the following dates.

• Location: The Asset must contain GPS coordinates within any of the given locations.

• Type: The Asset must match a selected File Type.

• Face: a property that contains the faces of one or more people specified in the Collection.

👉 Inside each rule is a number of fields for attributes on an Asset, like tags or detected faces, that are ignored if left empty.

👉 Assets must meet the conditions of all non-empty fields to pass a rule and be added to the Collection, such as containing a given person specified in the ‘Faces’ field.
